So Mikey flies to Texas today for aviation school for 5 wks.  To celebrate, we had a 6-pack reunion (2nd one since the new year), and went to Jersey to eat Sonic & Dairy Queen that we've longed for so much, watching commercials here from NYC.  5 outta 6-packs were there (minus Aaron, cuz of werk), and our good friends Lina, Luckcy, & Allan.

Stop #1 - brunch @  Sonic!
Right outside the Lincoln Tunnel @ Jersey, our car got there WAY before the FHP... and while discussing who is a faster driver than D (the answer is: everybody except me -_-;;), we ordered up a $50 storm.  We got sandwiches (on toast, not roll or hero), cheeseburgers, fries, tots, hotdogs, slushies, shakes, etc... By the time the FHP came in, we'd already finished our meal O_O  Their check only came out to be $31 (thaz cuz everyone only ordered 1 meal, unlike us with the meal and side and extra drink, and EXTRA side xD).   While the FHP ate, we went to Toys R Us in search for some Lego's fer Drew. 
Apparently everything in Jersey is cheaper, we had a good time looking @ board games, legos, instruments, and tossing balls around.  It was kinda weird for 8 Asians to roll up in Toys R Us.  Btw, we were all dressed in some kind of white, gray, black, and blue.  Next stop to kill time before eating  again, Newport Mall.
You can't really keep 5 guys and 3 girls together in a mall... naturally we split up.  The girls ducked into Express, Victoria's Secret (Lina got me a nice lil gift ), Hollister;  the dudes ducked into GameStop, Radio Shack, Brookstone, and American Eagle.  We then took some photobooth pix via Dz iPhone app outside the mall's bathroom.  Luckcy & I did the same poses  in 4 pix w/o even arranging it! Ha!  Oh, and finally, NEWPORT MALL PARKING LOT SUCK BIG FAT LARDY ASS! That is all.

Stop #2 - afternoon snack @ Dairy Queen
Having seen so many commercials here about their Blizzard... it turned out to be no more than a fancy McFlurry.  I think 5 outta 8 of us got a Blizzard, but I wasn't really impressed.  Barry's Strawberry CheeseQuake was good, but I gave mine away after just 1 bite, which apparently kept Luckcy up cuz of the sugar high   From here, it was a long and confusing drive to our 3rd stop.  Actually, thru-out the whole day, both cars' GPS was acting up.  Kept rerouting and shit, arrrgh!

Stop #3 - dinner & shopping @ Mitsuwa
It is now official, anytime we come back to Jersey, Mistuwa's gonna be the FIRST stop, or else we can't shop in peace and enjoy the food to its full tastebud satisfaction.  We got in at 7 something and had to wait to meet up w/everyone before we started going up & down the aisles.  We went thru half the market and got the warning that food court last call is approaching-- AHHHH!!!  *dumps shopping cart aside & runs for food* 2 of us by the Taiyaki stand, 2 more by the ramen stand, 2 more by the fried food shop, and myself getting soba & gyo-don.  Somehow we all found each other, trays in hand, and cleared out a nice strip on the bartop to enjoy-not-really-enjoy the deliciious Japanese goodies (pix on facebook, haha).  Then it was quickly inhaling the food and going back to the market cuz THEY ARE CLOSING soon... geebus!   Most of us stocked up on alcohol, rice crackers, some cosmetic stuff, and topped it off with a group pic in the parking lot.

Driving back home was ok, but we were all full and kinda uncomfortable from all the food we'd consumed that day, haha!  Mikey packed some tshirts and shorts for Texas, and we both went to sleep @ 12 something.  Next morning he woke me at 630 to say bye, and I fell back asleep.

I can only say, best weekend ever in a LONG time.  From Thursday movie night (Sucker Punch w/Maxx crew), Friday Peruvian dinner @ Pollo Inka Peru, Saturday road trip, and Sunday just chillin' w/one of my favorite people.  It was great to see everyone ^_^

I think it was because after a while, all my posts were pix of events, which seemed like the main function of Facebook. Plus Facebook was more exclusive, so I just sorta poof-ed. But I had to face the fact that I remembered the past and people so much better when I wrote about it. So xanga is necessary.

Recent concerns:
Job - Just need to tweak the résumé, and wanna hop on my dream train already! It's surprising how optimistic I became after finally finishing the résumé (I think it was looking at the "accomplishments" and realizing maybe I'm not a TOTAL lost cause).
Hair - Too long and annoying. Haven't had it this long since 2007. I think if I can be sure my crush wouldn't consider me uggoz after going short, and if I can spare the $ for it, I'd chop it off >_< Is it possible to "miss" short hair? Ha.
Family - Ugh! Beef in the house! I really dislike that, more than anything in the world. I feel like if a family can't work out their beef AS A FAMILY, then you're totally fuckin' failsauce. We have major communication issues, people need to clear their heads, get some sense, and just freakin' TALK about it. I can live with unresolved beef with friends and other ppl, but NOT between family. It just shouldn't be.
And last but not least, Food - the fact that I need some. NAO. That is all.

Today D-rock, B-bop, and L-pop declare the restart of XAN-MUTHAFUKIN-GA!
